Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Venice, Italy, protesting Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos' extravagant wedding to Lauren Sánchez. Elizabeth Palmer reports on the buzz and the backlash.

The new wedding party location is only accessible by boat and cannot be reached by land when the connecting bridges are raised up.

The couple-to-be, Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, are hiring mostly local suppliers, with 80 per cent of the wedding vendors reportedly from the area.
