First-Ever Toyota Land Cruiser Hybrid Launched In The UAE: Prices Start At AED 389,900
Toyota has launched the first-ever new Land Cruiser Hybrid in the UAE, starting at AED 389,900. It is now more powerful than its arch rival, the Nissan Patrol.

Toyota has introduced the first-ever Land Cruiser Hybrid SUV in the UAE. Available in two variants, it starts at AED 389,900. The hybrid is sold alongside the standard model and costs AED 60,000 more. The hybrid is now more powerful than its arch-rival, the Nissan Patrol.

Bookings for the new Land Cruiser Hybrid are being accepted for an amount of AED 2,000 on the brand’s official website, with deliveries said to be underway.

The new Land Cruiser Hybrid is powered by a new 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive transfer case including locking differentials. The new hybrid SUV features a hybrid system with a NiMH battery pack integrated into the AT gearbox. Here are the performance figures:

The Land Cruiser LC300 Hybrid features several exterior updates. The VXR trim comes with new Hybrid Jet Black bumpers for a bold look, while the GR-S trim includes a sporty grille, blacked-out elements, and Mud-Grey 18-inch wheels. Both models display the “HYBRID Beyond Zero” badge at the rear and “457TT” side badges.

The GR-S also has unique GR branding and additional black exterior detailing. Despite the modern updates, classic features like the “TOYOTA” grille and square mirrors have been retained, keeping the Land Cruiser’s traditional design alive.

The Land Cruiser Hybrid is identical in dimensions as compared to the standard model. However, the boot space volume has decreased due to the battery pack placed at the back under the cargo floor.

The interiors of the Land Cruiser Hybrid remain the same as the standard model. It continues to feature three-row seating wrapped in premium leather, offering maximum comfort. And despite being a refreshed model, it continues to feature a single-pane standard sunroof on the top-spec trim.

The front & rear seats feature power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and a massage function. Overall, it continues to be a semi-modern cabin that leaves a lot of room for improvement and feature additions.

Here are the highlights:

The new Toyota Land Cruiser Hybrid is now more powerful than its arch rival, the Nissan Patrol. We have already compared the standard Land Cruiser and the Nissan Patrol in this linked article. It also rivals the Volvo XC90, BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7, Cadillac Escalade, GAC GS8 Hybird and Chevrolet Tahoe, among others.
