The Nissan Patrol has long been a favourite among SUV enthusiasts, especially in the Middle East. There’s considerable anticipation surrounding the updates and enhancements that will be made to the new Nissan Patrol. Here’s what to expect from the updated SUV.

The 2025 Nissan Patrol is heavily influenced by its luxury sibling, the Infiniti QX80. Both vehicles share the same platform, which means the Patrol is expected to be well-equipped with premium features. However, Nissan will ensure the Patrol maintains its rugged identity.

The exterior of the 2025 Nissan Patrol is anticipated to undergo a significant refresh. While maintaining its muscular stance, the new model is expected to feature a more modern and sleek design, with sharper lines and a bolder front fascia.

The signature V-motion grille is likely to be more prominent, flanked by redesigned LED headlights. Expect new alloy wheel designs and c-shaped taillights that contribute to a more contemporary look.

Inside, the 2025 Nissan Patrol is expected to offer a more refined and luxurious cabin, borrowing elements from the Infiniti QX80. Premium materials like leather and wood accents. It will continue to offer a three-row seating layout for maximum practicality.

Some of the other features will include:

The new Patrol will come loaded with a ton of features, which will be far superior to its chief rival, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. Expect a larger 14-inch infotainment system with better connectivity options, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) will likely be more integrated, with features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and enhanced parking aids.

Under the hood, the 2025 Nissan Patrol is expected to be powered by the 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbocharged engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission — the same as the QX80. The powertrain produces 450hp and 700Nm. Both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options are expected.

Given its shared platform with the Infiniti QX80, which is renowned for its off-road prowess, the Patrol should offer impressive performance in challenging terrain. Features like four-wheel drive, low-range gearing, electronic locking differentials and advanced traction control systems are likely to be standard.

Safety will be a top priority in the 2025 Nissan Patrol. Expect a suite of advanced safety features, building on Nissan’s Safety Shield 360. This could include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and more. The structural integrity of the vehicle is also expected to be enhanced, with a focus on improving crash safety and occupant protection.

The Nissan Patrol is one of the most highly anticipated launches in the UAE. Once the new Patrol is launched, its rivals such as the Toyota Land Cruiser, Chevrolet Tahoe, and Ford Everest; among others. The new Patrol is expected to be priced starting from AED 250,000.
