New Geely Cityray Launched In The UAE: Prices Start At AED 86,500

Chinese car brand Geely has launched the new compact SUV in the UAE, the new Cityray. We had earlier reported that Geely is preparing to launch the Cityray in the country. The SUV has now been officially launched and is available at a starting price of AED 86,500.

Bookings for the new Cityray are being accepted on the brand’s official website with deliveries said to start soon. Additionally, the Cityray is bundled with a couple of offers for Ramadan, which will be applicable until the end of April. Here are the offer details:

The Geely Cityray is available in four colour options with the top-spec variant getting a blacked-out roof for a dual-tone design.

The new SUV is powered by a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Here are the performance figures:

At the front, the Cityray features a distinctive black, scale-like grille that seamlessly integrates with dot-matrix LED headlights, creating a sleek and aggressive appearance. The sharp lines and angular elements contribute to its modern aesthetic.

The SUV’s side profile is characterised by a dual-tone body design, often featuring a contrasting black roof that enhances its contemporary look. Prominent character lines run along the sides, accentuating the vehicle’s dynamic stance. The Cityray rides on black alloy wheels, available in sizes up to 19 inches, further emphasising its sporty appeal.

At the rear, the Cityray boasts arrowhead-shaped LED taillights connected by a horizontal light bar, providing a cohesive and modern look. A sporty rear wing and dual chrome exhaust outlets integrated into the bumper add to its athletic character.

The Geely Cityray SUV interior is modern, clean, and spacious. It features soft-touch materials with leather or quality fabric on the seats. The dashboard has a smooth design with stylish stitching. There’s good legroom and headroom for five passengers, offering comfort for both front and rear seats. 

Storage is practical, with cup holders, door bins, and a centre armrest compartment. The boot is spacious enough for daily use or weekend trips. The overall cabin has a premium feel, with dark tones and subtle contrast accents, creating a sporty yet refined atmosphere ideal for both city and long-distance driving.
