Michael “Mike” Dale Inman, 77, of Morgantown, WV, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born in Hamlin, WV, on October 31, 1947, Mike grew up with a love of family, hard work, and helping others. He graduated from Ravenswood High School in 1965 and went on to build a career marked by dedication and craftsmanship. He worked his way up from assistant manager to regional supervisor for Ponderosa in Akron and Charleston, worked for several kitchen design companies—where his skill and creativity shone—and later founded his own construction business, C&I Construction. Whatever the industry, Mike gravitated toward roles that kept him connected with people, always ready to lend a hand.

Mike’s greatest joy was his family. He delighted in gathering relatives at the farm for bonfires and celebrations, and he was always the first to lend his skills and expertise on house projects. He was an avid West Virginia Mountaineer fan, a passionate woodworker, and loved tinkering with cars and working with his hands. Above all, he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.

Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy; his children, Michael Dwayne Inman of Parkersburg, WV, Brian Inman (Nicki) of Wexford, PA, and Lynn Kaiser (James) of Missouri City, TX; and his stepson, Wayne Carlson of Butler, PA. He leaves behind grandchildren Hope, Michael Glen, and Evelyn Inman, and Katie Kaiser; step-grandchildren Regan, Aidan, and Ella Carlson; his siblings Sonya Hescht, Roger (Sue) Inman, Paul (Nancy) Inman, Stan (Debi) Inman, and Cindy DiLuca (Paolo); and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Pauline Inman.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 20, at 11:00 a.m. at McDonough Park Shelter A in Vienna, WV, with a short service beginning at noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WVU Children’s Hospital.

Mike’s wishes for cremation will be honored. Online condolences can be made at DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. Davis Funeral Home is honored to serve the Inman Family.
