Area Man who Owned, Operated Local Sports Venue, Robert Paul “Bob” Mancino, Passes Away at Age 70
Robert Paul “Bob” Mancino, 70, of Morgantown, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Madison Nursing and
June 24, 2025 WOL



 


In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by two siblings: Joseph Mancino and Francis Shewbridge.


 


Mr. Mancino is survived by his daughter Meranda N. Mancino of Morgantown; sister Florence “cookie” Wilson and husband Paul of Clarksburg; his former wife Diana Clutter of Hepzibah; and several nieces and nephews.


 


Bob graduated from Notre Dame High School, attended Alderson Broaddus College, and was Catholic by faith attending All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport. He was an automotive mechanic working at the former Action Chevrolet, West Fork Motors in Shinnston as well as other locations. Bob loved drag racing and was the former owner of Fairmont Dragway. He was especially proud of his ’69 Plymouth Roadrunner. Bob loved trains and also going to sports card shows, especially baseball.


 


Family and friends were received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 3 until 7pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11am with Father Walt Jagela presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
