ARI names Adrian Bradshaw as General Manager of new Abu Dhabi Duty Free partnership

Adrian Bradshaw: A wealth of experience in retailing, notably in his time with Beirut Duty Free

UAE. Leading Irish state-owned travel retailer ARI has named Adrian Bradshaw as General Manager, Travel Retail Sales and Services (TRSS) in Abu Dhabi.

TRSS is the joint-venture company between ARI Middle East (ARIME) and local partners that will operate the perfumes, cosmetics, jewellery and sunglasses categories at the new Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal A.

As reported, the facility will open in early November.

Bradshaw has an extensive background in travel retail, most recently from his time as Beirut Duty Free General Manager, where he played a key role in driving growth.

He was previously Senior Vice President at Qatar Distribution Company. Before joining ARI in 2016, Bradshaw held various senior roles with renowned retailers like Alshaya Group and Marks & Spencer.

ARIME CEO Rob Marriott said: “I am delighted to announce this news. Adrian, a seasoned travel retail leader, will bring extensive knowledge, experience, and expertise to our new business in Abu Dhabi.

Bradshaw will assume his new role later this year, joining the highly experienced Philip Eckles, who assumed the post of Implementation General Manager in Abu Dhabi earlier in 2023. ✈
