Bridgeport to See 27 Sections of City Facing Potential Water Issues for Period of Sept. 8 through Sept. 19

Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2025.

City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, September 8, 2025 through Friday, September 19, 2025, in the following areas of Bridgeport:

WEEK 15 – SEPTEMBER 8-12, 2025

· Driftwood Rd.

· Gateway Ave.

· Johnson Ave.

· Kembery Dr.

· Lindale St.

· Magnolia Lane

· Millbrook Rd.

· North Mimosa Lane

· Overlook Dr.

· Point of View

· Rebecca Rd.

· Sassafras Way

· South Mimosa Lane

· Sweet Birch Lane

· Wakefield St.

· Westwood Ave.

· Woodbrook Lane

WEEK 16 – SEPTEMBER 15-19, 2025

· Cava Dr.

· E. Pike St.

· Emily Dr. (Rt 50 to Post Office)

· Lodgeville Rd.

· Tolley Dr.

· Wonderbar Rd.

It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of water service during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
