During the massage, the alleged victim was reportedly told, “It’s not about sex, it’s about physical touch. They taught us that in school.”
FORT SMITH, Ark. — A massage therapist from Barling is facing two counts of sexual assault after reportedly touching two clients inappropriately in October 2024.
Intake records show that Raymond Graham, 51, was arrested on Sept. 15 after police say two former clients accused him of sexually touching them during massage sessions at the Inner Peace Body Studio in Fort Smith.
The first alleged victim told the Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) they had been going to the business for years, but the deep tissue massage they received on Oct. 12, 2024, was “different from any previous massage.”
According to a partially redacted affidavit, the alleged victim passed out during the massage, and when they woke up, Graham was inappropriately touching various parts of their body.
During the massage, Graham reportedly told the client, “I’m like a magnet to you,” and “It’s not about sex, it’s about physical touch, they taught us that in school.” The alleged victim reportedly froze up, did not speak, and did not give consent for Graham to touch her inappropriately.
That incident was reported to FSPD on Nov. 7, 2024.
According to FSPD, the second alleged victim went in for a massage on Oct. 20, 2024, and asked for a neck and shoulder massage from Graham. When the massage began, Graham “spent little time on [their] neck and shoulders before dropping to [their] lower body.” Graham then reportedly removed the alleged victim’s underwear without asking.
Graham then proceeded to inappropriately touch the alleged victim during the massage until the alleged victim stated they were done and had to leave.
That incident was reported to FSPD on Oct. 22, 2024.
Graham pleaded not guilty to two charges of second-degree sexual assault on Sept. 17, 2025, and was released on a $50,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for Sept. 24.
5NEWS reached out to Inner Peace Body Studio; they declined to comment, but Graham is not listed as a massage therapist on their website.
