From now through November 15, 2025, people living in Bryant can provide feedback to help the city make decisions regarding road conditions, traffic, and more.
BRYANT, Ark. — Starting this week, residents of Bryant can give feedback to help shape the city’s plans for their streets.
“The first part of the process is to reach out to the public and to get their input,” explained Ted Taylor, who is Bryant’s City Planning Director. “Because they drive the streets every day.”
That’s the goal behind the city’s newest initiative, which will give residents the chance to identify problem areas on Bryant’s roadways.
“We’re looking for those traffic patterns and congestion points that the residents are real frustrated with,” described Bryant Mayor Chris Treat. “And then setting up long-term plans to deal with that.”
That’s why from September 15, 2025, through November 2025, residents will see two new options on the city’s website.
The first is a questionnaire that asks about the overall condition of the city’s streets, and the second is an interactive map where residents can identify specific problem areas.
“It’ll ask you what type of problems you see,” Taylor said. “Is it congestion? Is it potholes? Do the streets need widening? And you put it in by address, and you can do it numerous times, because I’m sure you’ll see multiple issues throughout the city.”
Once the survey closes on November 15, city leaders will identify spots that were mentioned numerous times and attempt to secure funding to fix them.
“I know that residents have opinions about our streets. They talk to me about it every day,” Mayor Treat said. “Here’s an opportunity to go in and give us data points, right? Give us, not just anecdotal, but real data about what’s going on our streets.”
