Mom, 5 kids suffer heat exhaustion on Phoenix mountain

PHOENIX — Fire crews are working to rescue a mom and five kids from South Mountain after a heat-related issues, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Fire Department said the group was a quarter of the way up the trail, near 7th Street south of Dobbins Road, when the call for help came out.
