Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center to Play Host to Bestselling Author and Humorist David Sedaris

With over 16 million copies of his books in print and translations into 32 languages, David Sedaris has established himself as a preeminent voice in modern literature. He is the author of numerous New York Times bestsellers, including Calypso, Me Talk Pretty One Day, and Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls. His latest book, Happy-Go-Lucky, debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list, and the audio version won the 2023 Audie Award for Best Audio Book.

An Evening with David Sedaris will feature the author reading from new and unpublished material, as well as selections from his celebrated diaries. Known for his masterful live performances, Sedaris delivers his stories with a unique blend of poignant observation and laugh-out-loud humor. The evening will also include book signing before and after the show, offering attendees a chance to interact with the author.

Sedaris’s work appears regularly in The New Yorker and he is a frequent contributor to CBS Sunday Morning. He has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Thurber Prize for American Humor and the Medal for Spoken Language from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, into which he was inducted in 2019.
