Spanish lawmakers reject Sanchez's power cut bill in major blow

Spanish lawmakers on Tuesday rejected a Socialist-led bill aimed at preventing repeat power cuts, dealing a major blow to Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. The government lost the vote 183-165 as far-right, far-left, and mainstream opposition parties united against it. The defeat underscores growing political challenges for Sanchez.
