Starfield is arguably the most-awaited title for 2023. Furthermore, Xbox is marketing the Bethesda title at an extensive level. From a special constellation edition to pre-loads starting soon, Xbox is not leaving any stone unturned. But sometimes Xbox does not even have to spend a penny on the marketing of the title.

The recent hype around Starfield was created by a simple retweet from Xbox. They just had to retweet NASA’s latest discovery; the rest was handled by Starfield’s loyal fans. This marketing tactic has brought in a huge amount of new fans for the upcoming Bethesda title.

Recently, NASA shared a discovery made by the James Webb telescope. The telescope had spotted a giant ‘question mark’ shaped object in deep space. While space enthusiasts are calling it a black hole sucking a galaxy in, Xbox has something else in mind. Xbox Game Pass account tweeted out, “Turns out we didn’t find all the Riddler trophies.” With this, they were referencing the Batman: Arkham Knight game.

However, Starfield fans had something else in mind. Multiple fans started rallying that this object in space is not related to Batman: Arkham Knight game but to the upcoming sci-fi title from Bethesda. Fans started to point out that the space-based game might contain answers to this mind-boggling discovery.

Furthermore, some fans are also claiming that this is a marketing trick by Xbox. Fans claimed that Xbox is secretly collaborating with NASA to promote Starfield. However, this theory seemed a little far-fetched for some gaming fans. Whether this theory is true remains unknown. However, a fan cheekily said, “Check back again on the first of September, and it’ll be Starfield.”
Since Xbox gave their Batman: Arkham Knight theory, Starfield fans have also come forward to share their views. They are calling it a marketing tactic by the console giant as the upcoming title is all about exploration.
