New Geely Okavango Launched In The UAE: Prices Start At AED 89,900

Geely and AGMC, their official distributor in the UAE, have launched the new Okavango SUV in the UAE. The new family SUV is available in multiple variants and colour options, with prices starting at AED 89,900.

Bookings and deliveries for the new Geely Okavango are underway on the brand’s official website. The SUV is available in four monotone colour options: Black, Grey, Blue, and White. There are no dual-tone colour options available for the Okavango.

The new Okavango is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Here are the performance figures:

The Geely Okavango’s design is ‘mildly’ influenced by the Volvo XC60. The bold and wide grille dominates the front fascia. It integrates the Geely logo in the centre and extends towards the headlights on either side.

The Okavango has a strong and broad shoulder line that gives it a muscular stance. The roofline slopes gently towards the rear, giving it a stylish SUV profile. Overall, the Okavango features a mature and premium SUV stance with a hint of sporty feel.

One of the main selling points of the Okavango’s interior is its size. With three rows of seating that can be folded flat, it offers ample legroom and headroom for all passengers, even in the third row. All seven seats feature individual folding and reclining capabilities. 

The Okavango’s interior utilises a mix of soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door panels, along with leather seats. This creates a premium feel throughout the cabin.

Geely has equipped the Okavango with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display on the top-spec trim.
