Hidden Gem of Local Harrison County Restaurant is Now Closed, but New Ownership to Reopen Soon

According to the City of Shinnston’s Facebook page, one of the community’s most popular restaurants as well as a hidden gem found by many, has closed.

The city announced that Shinnston Peking closed this Monday, July 7.  The Guo-Zheng family operated the restaurant in Shinnston for 20 years.

The good news is that the operation will not be closed long. According to the same post, the restaurant is expected to reopen at the end of July as new ownership takes over and transitions to begin anew.
